Since 1989, Jebro Incorporated, a Knife River Corporation subsidiary headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa, has been providing used oil collection and recycling services for oil producers and consumers. Jebro recycles used oil, oil filters, anti-freeze and oily water. Its coverage area for used-oil recovery presently extends to Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Missouri and Kansas and employs qualified and knowledgeable personnel trained in the collection of used oil products. To ensure proper compliance with state and federal standards, all used oil products are analyzed for the presence of water, contaminants or other hazardous waste. Upon acceptance, the used product is safely collected and transferred to Jebro facilities for storage and recycling.
