The PlyWood Trail is an 18-mile paved concrete path under development in Sioux City, Iowa, aiming to link the communities of Le Mars, Merrill, Hinton, and Sioux City across Plymouth and Woodbury counties for safe, scenic, non-motorized travel. Knife River is supplying about 4,700 cubic yards of concrete for the project, with 2,000 cubic yards already delivered
The Knife River construction team played a key role in the Highway 75 improvements in Sioux City, delivering new turn lanes, paving upgrades, and improved traffic configurations. These enhancements have significantly boosted traffic flow and safety along this heavily traveled corridor. Knife River’s efficient execution and quality materials helped modernize the roadway and support future growth in the area.
